5th Wall is excited to bring this thrilling and relevant drama to the stage. Anthropology is a new play by renowned playwright Lauren Gunderson. The play explores human connection and how it intersects with new technology. The play follows Merril - a software developer, as she deals with the loss of her sister by creating an interactive AI replica by using the data that was left behind. As the AI model grows more and more like Angie, the bonds of love and family are pushed to their limits. Is the AI helping Merril cope with her grief, or is it sending her down a mysterious path that will change everything? Wonderfully acted by a small cast of new faces, and directed by Jason Olson and Gwen Morris. 5th Wall will present this play at the Old Trolley Theatre from February 27th- March 15th.
